Ron Mueck @ Mori Art Museum
This exhibition is the continuance of a long-lasting relationship between the artist and the Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain and was first presented in Paris in 2023, traveling to Milan and Seoul before arriving at the Mori Art Museum.
This marks the artist’s second solo show in Japan, following the retrospective held at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa in 2008. The exhibition presents eleven works that trace the artist’s evolution from early masterpieces to recent creations, with a focus on major pieces including the large-scale work Mass (2016-2017).
This comprehensive selection provides deep insight into the development of the artist’s practice. Six of these works are making their Japanese debut, and notably, the early masterpiece Angel (1997) makes this a truly rare opportunity.
It also presents photographs and films by French photographer and filmmaker Gautier Deblonde which document Mueck’s studio practice and enrich our understanding how these extraordinary sculptures are created.

Deep and Wide - Sound Installation by KOMAKUS
The exhibition featured a surround sound space within the wooden building of a former paper factory, with 32 speakers suspended by wires.
MUJIN-TO Production is pleased to present “Deep and Wide” by KOMAKUS, who has been exploring the deepening of acoustic spaces. In a distinctive venue that was once a paper-processing factory built shortly after the end of World War II, the exhibition introduces a new form of music that can be experienced only here.
"From its origin, techno has been about transforming the rhythms of decaying cities into DIY sounds of their own, embracing a decentralized, anonymous aesthetic that blurs the lines between creator and listener. KOMAKUS, whose practice deeply absorbs this culture, pursues sounds that manifest only here and now, as if resisting the homogeneous means of information transmission assumed by mainstream culture. Electronic sounds materialize solely through speakers, creating friction on the eardrum. Within this space, sound reveals its material properties while being liberated as something raw and unfiltered."
— Tomoko Yabumae (Curator, Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo)
KOMAKUS
Active since 2019, KOMAKUS uses sound as its primary material, aiming to liberate the soul from the constraints of gravity. Specializing in multichannel acoustic design, sound production, and the development of original sound systems, the group emerged from WHITELIGHT—an audio team that has explored the creation of decentered sonic spaces across multiple genres.

Neon Tube Ikebana and a Stone Garden.
Chris Wynne Evans Exhibition - The Final Chapter
Set within the Sogetsu Kaikan—a sanctuary for contemporary Ikebana—and framed by Isamu Noguchi’s stone garden, the signature large-scale neon work, 《Drawing in Light (and Time)….suspended》(2020), is "arranged" like a flower.
Neon is usually the language of commerce, just as words are tools for communication. Yet, the Marcel Proust quote flickering here refuses to be easily processed. It evades the intellect.
Perhaps because this isn't "information"—it’s art. It’s an experience designed for sensation rather than acquisition.
It makes you wonder: Is Ikebana natural or artificial?
This exhibition sits at that exact intersection. Man-made neon tubes casting an artificial glow over a garden of sculpted, stacked stones. And in the middle of it all, a pine tree. On paper, it sounds like a contradiction—a glitch in the logic—but in person, the harmony is profound.

God, I, Ego
- Tomohito Wakui -
Solo Exhibition
ANOMALY will be hosting Tomohito Wakui's solo exhibition "God, I, Ego" from Saturday, March 7th to Saturday, April 4th, 2026.
Tomohito Wakui, born in Niigata Prefecture in 1990, is a Tokyo-based artist and musician. He also presents works as a performer and is the director and curator of the alternative space "WHITEHOUSE" located in Hyakunincho, Shinjuku, among other diverse activities.
In his artwork, Wakui primarily focuses on the chain of negation in history (such as the elimination of organisms, lost technologies, and the denial of "chance"), and explores the possibilities of "possible/possible worlds" by re-examining them. His practice transcends genres and unfolds as activities that disrupt or invalidate existing frameworks.
